Highway and Bridge CDL Equipment Operator, Scranton

Job Description This is a seasonal position with an expected start date in mid-April. DeAngelo Contracting Services (DCS) is seeking a responsible, motivated, and proficient CDL Equipment Operator with good ethics and a great attitude. This person will be responsible for performing the day-to-day routine job operations of Street Sweepers, tanker Flush Trucks, and diverse types of other CDL Equipment. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: Operate Street Sweepers and/or Wash Trucks (Tanker). Implement traffic control measures (maintenance of traffic) and set up safety zones. Load and unload tanker equipment (water), along with shovels, brooms, etc. Perform tree trimming tasks, including hauling and removing brush. Conduct pre-trip inspections on vehicles. Operate pressure washers and sweepers. Use all equipment and tools in a safe manner. Operate various Aerial Lift Trucks. May drive vehicles with manual transmissions. Perform other related duties as needed.
