Service Advisor, Dunmore

Scranton Dodge Chrysler Jeep is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our automotive service department. Job Responsibilities: Greet customers in a timely and friendly manner. Communicate with service customers to determine the nature of the mechanical problem. Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications, using maintenance menus. Ensure that all repair orders are accounted for. If additional work is needed, explain the details to the customer, including the additional cost and time. Provide estimates for labor and parts. Establish time promised. Follow-up with the customer’s onthe progress of their vehicles Be responsible for quality control to ensure that work is completed as requested and to reduce comebacks. Interpret warranty information and policies to customers. On completion of work, repair orders must be closed in a timely and efficient manner. Other duties as assigned. Requirements Job Qualifications: Previous experience in automotive repair or service writing preferred. Ability to work with limited supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment. Must have great customer service skills. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to customers in a clear and concise manner Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with customers Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously CDK experience highly preferred We offer competitive compensation, ongoing training opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
