We are seeking an Operator 2, Bakery - Packing (Machine Operator, Subway Packing) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As an Operator 2, you will be accountable for operating and monitoring packaging equipment to ensure a consistent flow of finished goods, while maintaining safety, quality, and accuracy standards across the packing process.

Shift&Schedule

Shift: 1st Hours: 6AM - 2:30PM Weekend availability: Required Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing)

Operate and monitor packaging equipment to maintain a continuous and efficient flow of finished goods Ensure all products meet safety, legality, quality, and company specifications Perform metal detector checks and labeling verification in compliance with HACCP and food safety standards Communicate effectively with production, quality assurance, maintenance, and shipping teams to minimize downtime and wasteMaintain accurate, complete, and legible production and quality documentation each shift Support efficient changeovers, start-ups, and shutdowns to meet production goals Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following GMPs and safe operating procedures Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table)

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Basic math and timekeeping skills Ability to make logical decisions in a production environment Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shiftAbility to lift, push, or drag up to 50 lbs. Ability to work in environments that may be cold, hot, wet, dusty, or noisy Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success)

Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production facility Experience operating packaging or production machinery Familiarity with HACCP, GMPs, and food safety practices Experience working in a team-based manufacturing environment
