Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania invites applications for temporary faculty positions (full-time one semester, part-time one semester or part-time academic year) as needs arise in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers courses in audiology, speech-language pathology, and IONM. Based on the specific needs of the department at the time of appointment, a successful applicant must be qualified to teach undergraduate and or graduate level courses in audiology, speech-language pathology, and or IONM. The home campus for these temporary positions is Bloomsburg with the expectation of serving a multi-campus University within the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education.Duties - Applicants would be expected to teach undergraduate and or graduate level courses offered by the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders. They would be responsible for teaching the content material, grading, holding office hours as specified by the CBA, and submitting final grades for the semester.Qualifying Experience and Education (Minimum/Preferred) - Program Specific Minimum Requirements: Doctorate of Audiology (Au.D.): Earned doctoral degree (Au.D. or Ph.D.) from an accredited institution. Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology (MS-SLP): Earned Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited institution. Bachelor of Science in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (B.S.AUDSLP): Graduate degree in Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology. Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring (IONM): A minimum of post-baccalaureate training in health-related science with 3 years of clinical IONM experience and CNIM certification required. Preferred Qualifications: Previous teaching experience A minimum of three years of clinical experience Ability to work with diverse populations
