Project Engineer , you'll support field and office operations by partnering with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure quality project delivery. This role offers hands-on responsibility with a clear path for growth into future leadership. You'll help manage daily coordination, documentation, budgeting, compliance, and communication from project start-up through closeout.What You'll Do
Coordinate project planning, integration, and completion of assigned scopes Prepare and manage contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and material procurement Lead on-site engineering activities and maintain liaison with design teams and clients Attend project meetings and support owner meetings with project managementAssist in preparing project status reports and closeout documentation Review design documents for compliance with engineering and contract requirements Monitor technical progress, testing, and resolution of design and construction issues Track and manage costs to ensure alignment with project budgetsPromote and support site safety efforts through personal actions and team mentorship Why You'll Be Successful
You're curious, detail-oriented, and a strong team player. You love solving problems, building relationships, and taking initiative in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field or construction certificate program3–5 years of relevant construction experience Solid understanding of construction processes, documentation, and safety standards Tech-savvy and comfortable with scheduling and project management tools Able to read and interpret plans, specs, and submittals Organized, dependable, and comfortablehandling confidential informationStrong written and verbal communication skills Excellent time management and accountability for meeting deadlines
Absher is a Federal Contractor. All job offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen. Salary offers are typically made between the entry and midpoint of the range and are based on factors such as experience, education, and internal equity. Pay Transparency
$80,000—$110,000 USD
