Position Overview

The Landscape Construction Laborer assists with a variety of tasks supporting landscape construction projects. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for someone looking to build a career in the landscaping or construction industry. You'll work alongside experienced crew members to help complete projects safely, efficiently, and to company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with site preparation, installation, and cleanup for landscape construction projects Safely use hand tools such as shovels, brooms, wheelbarrows, and other common equipment Excavate trenches for drainage systems and irrigation piping Load, move, and distribute soil, rocks, and other materials on-siteLoad and unload tools, equipment, pipe, and materials Operate small equipment such as trenchers, augers, and compact machinery (with training)Assist with irrigation and drainage system installation under supervision Maintain a clean and organized job site Follow all safety procedures and company guidelinesWork effectively as part of a team and take direction from foremen and supervisors

Requirements

Qualifications

Previous landscaping, construction, or outdoor labor experience preferred (not required) Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with team members Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the day Ability to operate tools and equipment safely Work Environment

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, light rain) Exposure to dust, noise, and typical construction site conditions
