Job Description: *THOUGH /HOUR IS THE MAX ALIGNED TO THE BEELINE JOB TITLE, /HOUR IS THE MANAGER'S TRUE TARGET BILL RATE FOR CANDIDATE CONSIDERATION

Copywriter (Brand Creative)

Responsibilities:
From print to digital channels, craft messaging for current customers, those just met, and potential ones. Everything
from writing headlines to translating legalese into user-friendly language.
Brainstorm big concepts one day and tackle detail-oriented projects the next.
Work with team art directors, creative directors, brand and marketing strategists.
Work with partners internal marketing and line-of-business.
Create marketing that cuts through the noise.
Use strategy to inform creative decisions.
Understand the importance of integrated thinking across channels, products and audiences, while staying true to the brand.
Learn from consumer insights and let them influence work.
Be willing to push the process and mindsets of others to create great customer experiences and strengthen brand.
Manage multiple deadlines on numerous projects happening at the same time.
Deliver error-free work, using best practices with keen attention to detail.
Determine when to use existing solutions or start from scratch, so time can be invested where it matters.
Understand the goals of a project, take direction well, and ask questions when clarity is necessary.
Present work in a compelling way to create support across different audiences.

The ideal candidate:
Attention to detail
Ability to connect the dots between one piece of work and the rest of a customer journey
Knowing when to tap in the experts (Brand Standards, channel specialists, other SMEs)
Ability to communicate rationale behind your copy to manager, but more importantly, to partners
Rooting copy in benefits/audience motivators/audience barriers
Knowing when to play off illustration or design and be a little more playful, versus when to be as direct as possible (for instance, the site or candidate prep language needs to be pretty direct, but can have a bit more fun with swag, social, events, etc)
Curiosity and willingness to make sure you have the full picture from partners asking for resources, prior work, related work in kick offs

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of copywriting or creative writing experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in one or more of the following marketing areas: Talent Marketing, B2B, Experiential, Performance, or Direct Response
Experience in the financial services industry
