Link Solutions is seeking a Technical Editor to join our team at Adelphi, MD.
Must be a US Citizen
DoD Secret Clearance required
Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The Technical Editor will be responsible for reviewing, editing, and refining a variety of technical and process documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and compliance with organizational standards. You will coordinate with subject matter experts, writers, and project teams to enhance the quality and consistency of deliverables.
Responsibilities:
Review and edit technical documentation for grammar, spelling, structure, clarity, and completeness.
Verify that documents meet ARL and organizational style guides and quality standards.
Collaborate with authors to resolve content issues such as incomplete instructions, unclear language, or redundant sections.
Provide editing support for a wide range of documents, including training materials, technical manuals, process documentation, and formal deliverables.
Maintain and update the organizational style guide; propose improvements as needed.
Ensure that final documents are consistent, accurate, and ready for submission or publication.
Conduct quality control checks on written products to meet government and contractual requirements.
Support documentation development life cycles from draft through final approval.
Coordinate with technical teams, project managers, and support staff to maintain version control and accuracy of deliverables.
