The ideal candidate will provide dedicated administrative support to our executive-level leadership, ensuring the smooth operation of scheduling, travel planning, departmental event coordination, and streamlining administrative processes. We highly value candidates with military experience who have previously served as an executive assistant to senior executives or flag/general officers. The ideal candidate will be high energy, excellent organization skills, strong attention to detail, effective written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening abilities, and the capability to multitask efficiently.Duties: Responsible for scheduling/coordinating executive leadership calendar and meeting preparations Ability to format memos/letters/and other documentation according to DoD procedures Office tasking to include assisting executive leadership with internal procedures and documentation Draft comprehensive meeting minutes; Ability to receive a task, initiate and follow through with minimal assistance to write up documentation, coordinate with relevant personnelUse Travel Services to schedule travel; Provide record keeping/filing of travel documents, statements of work, timecards Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Associate degree in English or Business Administration or related field required Bachelor's degree in English and at least 3-5 years of administrative experience or related field required3-5 years' of related experience supporting administrative functions at the executive level Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams) or related software Must have a vehicle to travel between offices (Move/ship/distribute procurement; mileage will be reimbursed)Working Environment: Hybrid must live in the (DC, Bowie, Baltimore, Rockville, or College Park) Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy: Dobbs Defense Solutions is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
