Position:

We are a Pasadena based company with Master Services contract with a County Internal Services Department (ISD). Our client  seeks to obtain services of a two (2) Consultants at the level of Senior Full Stack Java/Oracle Developers experienced in both front and back end programming to build high performing, scalable, web applications in Java/Oracle. The Consultants shall be part of a software team that works on a mission-critical application for the County of Los Angeles Probation Department

BACKGROUND

The Los Angeles County Probation Department has the responsibility to document all incidents and grievances for Youth that occur within a Probation facility. These incidents are currently being tracked in the Incidents and Grievance module of Probation Case Management System (PCMS). Due to the changes in business procedures, the documenting of incidents and grievances for Youth that occur within a Probation facility, Los Angeles County Probation Juvenile Division have requested that changes be made in PCMS to capture the new data. These changes will require that all current data in the Incidents and Grievance module be retained for system users to access as needed. The change requested encompasses the development of 7 new screens and forms in Phase I as well as reporting requirements in Phase II.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

The Consultants must individually meet all of the following minimum qualifications:

1. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years working with Java

Development.

2. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years in Oracle PL/SQL.

3. Three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years on Oracle database

design & modeling.

4. One (1) year of experience in Strut 1.0 (must include JSP, Servlet, MVC

Concept).

5. One (1) year of experience in Oracle Report Builder.

6. One (1) year of experience in Hibernate ORM and Eclipse IDE.

7. One (1) year of experience in Weblogic.

8. One (1) year of experience working on web application development on the front

end using JQuery/HTML/JSP.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK/DUTIES

The Consultants shall design, develop and deliver a mission-critical sub-system to

the existing PCMS Java application. The Consultants shall use agile software

development methodology from design to testing and implementation by prioritizing

tasks and meeting deadlines.

The Consultants shall perform all of the following:

· Provide technical guidance and mentoring to others in areas of expertise.
