Qualifications & Experience:
Earned Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT)
Active California licensure as a Physical Therapist
Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting strongly preferred
Understanding of IEP processes, student documentation, and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Passion for fostering students' functional mobility, motor skills, and overall well-being in a school setting
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver direct and consultative PT services to a K-12th grade caseload across various campuses as assigned
Develop individualized intervention plans aligned with students' academic and developmental needs
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
Monitor progress, maintain thorough documentation, and adjust therapies as needed
Offer training and resources to staff and families to encourage carryover of skills
Adapt interventions to suit school environments and support students' access to their education
