With a passion for discovery and a commitment to excellence, we are shaping the future of animal health one breakthrough at a time.POSITION SUMMARY The Quality Control Scientist, as a member of the Manufacturing Team, ensures reliable and accurate test results on products in compliance with regulatory requirements for USDA product release. JOB DUTIES This position must demonstrate competency and perform moderately complex testing as defined and supervised by the Quality Control Manager. The role requires independent judgment and interpretation under their direct supervisor.Maintain appropriate and detailed records regarding testing of the finished product. Perform testing as defined by the Quality Control Manager to confirm product quality. Prepare samples of finished products for testing or analysis to prepare for Quality Control testing. Prepare solutions, mediums, and buffers to be used by Quality Control staff in the completion of tests or studies.Perform tasks associated with animal care and husbandry. Perform additional duties as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of: Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational and planning skills. Proficient in MS Office Ability to: Follow detailed directions and instructions. Communicate information clearly and concisely. Establish and maintain effective relationships with coworkers. Compensation: Pay based on experience and education.
