Associate - Support Services Housekeeping, Slayton

Job Summary:

Join a dedicated team focused on maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment within healthcare facilities across the Midwest region. This role supports patients, staff, visitors, and vendors by performing essential non-clinical housekeeping and linen services with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities: Apply a thorough seven-step cleaning process to ensure assigned areas meet high standards of cleanliness and safety, including patient rooms, bathrooms, floors, and common areas. Perform tasks such as dusting, sanitizing, waste removal, linen changes, and replenishing room supplies.Conduct project cleaning of walls, windows, carpets, furniture, blinds, and curtains as assigned. Deliver supplies, including pharmaceuticals and medical records, to satellite locations within the regional network. Manage linen processing duties: sorting, drying, ironing, folding, packing, and distributing linens while maintaining inventory and quality assurance.Inspect surgical linens for defects, perform necessary repairs, and ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of assigned equipment and report any needed repairs promptly. Adhere to departmental policies, safety protocols, and legal regulations, including confidentiality and emergency preparedness.Demonstrate excellent guest relations by showing courtesy, compassion, and respect in all interactions. Work collaboratively with team members, communicate effectively, and take initiative to support departmental goals. Education and Experience:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in housekeeping or support services is advantageous but not required. Additional Requirements:

Flexibility to work varied days Monday through Friday, including holiday rotations. Ability to work early morning shifts (3:00 AM to 11:00 AM).
