Key Responsibilities: Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in assigned areas, including operating rooms and common spaces.Clean and disinfect surfaces and equipment following established guidelines. Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely and effectively. Properly handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste materials. Adhere to infection prevention, safety, and organizational policies at all times.Collaborate with team members and work independently to fulfill department objectives. Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred. Previous experience in a related cleaning or support services role is advantageous. Certification as a Surgical Cleaning Technician is preferred.1-2 years of relevant work experience recommended. Work Schedule: First shift, typically 8 AM to 4 PM, with weekend and holiday rotations required. This position is located in a regional healthcare facility serving the Midwest area of the United States.
