Job Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Location: Hauppauge, NY

Schedule: Monday-Friday, Days (5x8s)

Hours: 40 hours/week

Annual Salary Range: $108,610 - $114,400 (based on experience)

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse for a full-time, weekday-only role in a brand-new ambulatory surgery center. This position offers a stable MondayFriday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or on-call, making it ideal for professionals seeking excellent work/life balance in a supportive and team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct, individualized nursing care in the operating room using scientific nursing principles

Offer clinical leadership, guidance, and supervision to the Surgical Services team

Ensure patient safety, comfort, and continuity of care during surgical procedures

Support surgical teams across a variety of procedures with a focus on quality outcomes

Maintain professional and effective communication with staff, surgeons, and patients

Assist in maintaining a safe, efficient, and positive perioperative environment

Facility Overview:

Newly built Ambulatory Surgery Center

4 Operating Rooms

250-300 surgeries performed per month

Known for a warm, family-like setting and strong teamwork culture

Required Qualifications:

Valid New York State RN License

Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience

BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in orthopedic, spine, and pain management surgical services
