A manufacturing company is looking for motivated individuals to join their team as Welder Trainees. work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Learn and perform basic stick welding (SMAW) techniques under supervision
• Assist with fitting, positioning, and securing metal parts before welding
• Read and follow welding drawings, blueprints, and job specifications
• Prepare materials by grinding, cutting, cleaning, and measuring metal components
• Operate welding machines, grinders, and hand tools safely
• Inspect welds for quality, alignment, and structural integrity
• Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance needs
• Follow all OSHA and workplace safety procedures
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Support fabrication and production teams with daily tasks

The essential functions of this role include:
