Traffic Analyst, Southaven

Overview:
Performs administrative support duties in varied functions and/or project team situations based on priorities, duties, policies, and program goals. Applying understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of the department and/or project team.

Responsibilities:
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced work environment
• Communicating with customers, carriers, sales/customer service, team members daily.
• Printing orders and dispersing to proper storeroom or packing areas
• Accurately processing and labelling shipments, both domestic and international.
• Printing Bill of ladings and other supporting documentation for shipments
• Monitoring and assisting with sub-work as needed
• Occasional packing of parts as needed.
• Monitoring the gate to allow vehicles access into the area.
• Other general administrative duties may be required.

Qualifications:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2-4 years of logistics experience preferred
• Intermediate experience with Microsoft office, shipping software and Syteline preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are important in order to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, other department personnel and customers.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment is important.
• Ability to receive constructive feedback and coaching, and respond appropriately.
• Proficiently communicate ideas and concepts with ability to persuade, influence and facilitate problem resolution.
