What You’ll Do As a Lab Technician-Float, you support timely, accurate testing so providers can make informed decisions for patients across sites. You will collect and process specimens, run routine lab tests, document results in the appropriate system, maintain quality control logs, and keep equipment and work areas clean and ready for use. You’ll also follow safety, infection-control, and confidentiality requirements while coordinating with clinical staff.
Required qualifications/skills: - High school diploma or equivalent; lab training or relevant experience preferred - Comfortable with specimen handling, basic lab procedures, and accurate data entry - Strong attention to detail, reliability, and clear communication - Ability to travel between locations as needed and work a full-time onsite schedule

How Your Day Flows You’ll start by checking the day’s workflow, confirming supplies are stocked, and reviewing any pending items from the prior shift. As a float, you may rotate to a different clinic in Ashland based on coverage needs, then settle in with the team’s rhythm and communication style. Throughout the day you’ll stay organized, keep documentation current, and manage priorities when volumes change. You’ll wrap up by verifying records are complete, preparing the space for the next shift, and handing off any open items clearly to the next team member.
Your Benefits Medical, dental, and vision coverage; 401(k); life insurance; paid time off. Compensation is a competitive salary range of $18–$22 per hour.
