Position Description

Notches and pierces parts on Finn-Power turret punch press. Makes setup and adjustments to machine. Uses PC to observe automatic nesting/sorting NC Express programs and to make adjustments to part programs. Monitors quality of product, maintains tooling, basic maintenance on machine, cleans machine weekly, and maintains a clean safe work environment.

Operates turret punch press Operates support PC Performs quality checks and records data Checks prints and sets up machine Maintains tooling Basic maintenance of machine Keeps a clean safe work area Cleans machine Formal Finn-Power training in machine operation and controls Formal Finn-Power training on automatic nesting of programs and monitoring programsFormal Finn-Power training on automatic sorting of parts and monitoring location Personal Computer and keyboard capability Blue print reading Should take 6 months of punch press experience to be 90% proficient Key Responsibilities
