1987 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia White, Sprague

This 1987 Volkswagen Vanagon is a Westfalia pop-top camper that has been repowered with a 3.3-liter Subaru flat-six driving all four wheels through a factory four-speed Syncro transmission with a “granny gear” and a locking rear differential. Finished in white over a gray interior, it is equipped with a convertible rear seat, a stove, a refrigerator, a pop-up tent, air conditioning, a CD stereo, aftermarket bumpers, 2″ lift springs, a rear locker, and 16″ Audi wheels. The van spent time in Washington State and Nevada before being relocated to Oregon, and was acquired by its current owner 10 years ago. The clutch and front inner CV boots were replaced, oil and filter changes performed, and the air conditioning system charged in 2021.
