OVERVIEW:

CR Concrete is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet and equipment. This role involves inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, welding, and repair work on a variety of heavy, medium, and light-duty equipment and vehicles

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct DOT safety inspections

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, vehicles, and small engines

Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems

Perform welding and fabrication as needed

Maintain clean, organized work areas and accurate service logs

Assist with training junior mechanics

Road test vehicles to ensure proper function

Follow all safety protocols

 

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience in heavy equipment maintenance (construction industry preferred)

Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems knowledge

Full set of personal tools (specialty tools provided)

CDL license preferred or ability to obtain one

Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to nearby job sites

Ability to work in varying weather conditions

Strong communication and teamwork skills

 

"The compensation package will start at $60.46 per hour for Journeyman"
