Swing Shift Floor Support Technician

Swing Shift Floor Support is looking for a technician to join our team. This job consists of providing support to our customers on the Manufacturing floor by solving technical problems related to automated test within a Manufacturing environment. Floor Support works with numerous disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer hardware, scripting/coding, data analysis, and Manufacturing processes. Our ideal candidate has a strong level of experience in one or more of these with the ability to learn the others, or a moderate skill/experience with multiple.Floor Support also partners with a variety of other support teams across the organization. In this position, you will be expected to communicate and collaborate well with both our customers and our partners. Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:00PM - 11:30PM As a Test Engineering Technician, a typical day may include the following:Triage and respond to support requests from Manufacturing Prioritize and execute requests appropriately Communicate status and progress to customers and partners Troubleshoot basic test failures of SEL products using data and experimentation Determine root cause of a problem Utilize a variety of tools and methodsImplement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of problem in the future Review testing procedures and infrastructure and communicate any opportunities for improvement Update documentation and processes in continuous improvement Build, validate, repair and maintain test fixtures and test stationsWrite and validate basic test scripts; recognize and correct simple scripting errors Use and update schematics for test fixtures and test stations Work with other Test Engineering personnel to support Manufacturing test requirements. Pay Range Data: $32.88-.13– $48.60 per hourOur compensation ranges are based on the responsibilities of the role.
