We are looking for a Cost Accountant to join our team and play a key role in supporting financial accuracy and business performance within our manufacturing operations.
About the Role:
The Cost Accountant will perform cost and inventory analysis, enhance the accuracy of cost calculations, and develop reporting to support internal stakeholders.
This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to provide insights that drive informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the monthly inventory close process
Analyze, review, and correct location P&Ls at month end
Coordinate and support physical inventory count audits
Execute monthly financial close activities, ensuring accuracy of consolidated data
Analyze revenue and cost allocation by project
Provide internal guidance to departments on cost-related matters
Perform transfer pricing calculations
Develop and maintain reports for internal users
Perform ad hoc analysis and other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in manufacturing and inventory controls preferred
Skills & Competencies:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management and organizational abilities
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Solid understanding of financial and cost accounting principles
