Job Summary
LHH is seeking an experienced
Employee Relations Specialist
to support a client with a lean, high-impact Employee Relations function operating in a shared services environment. This role is responsible for managing
complex employee relations investigations from intake through resolution , supporting multiple business units.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned employee relations professional who is comfortable operating independently, conducting sensitive interviews, analyzing documentation, and producing clear, well-structured investigation summaries. This role requires a high level of discretion, strong judgment, and the ability to manage fluctuating caseloads in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
Conduct full-cycle employee relations investigations, including intake, fact-finding, interviews, analysis, and resolution Interview complainants, witnesses, and accused parties in the appropriate investigative sequence Review and analyze documentation, policies, and relevant employment laws Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported investigation summaries for leadership reviewManage multiple investigations simultaneously while meeting defined timelines and quality standards Utilize anonymous ethics hotlines and investigation management systems to document, track, and resolve cases Partner closely with Employee Relations leadership and HR stakeholders across the organizationMaintain strict confidentiality, professionalism, and objectivity throughout the investigative process Adhere to established investigation templates, procedures, and documentation standards Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required 5+ years of hands-on Employee Relations experience Proven experience conducting
independent investigations from start to finish Strong working knowledge of
U.S. labor and employment laws Experience using
ethics hotlines and/or investigation management systems Excellent written communication skills, including formal investigation documentation Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and sound professional judgment Preferred Qualifications
SHRM certification or active pursuit of HR professional development Legal, compliance, or risk-management background Experience supporting
shared services or multi-entity organizations
Pay Details:
$43.27 to $48.08 per hour
