Schedule Monday–Friday Typical shift: 8-hour shift Occasional evenings or weekends for events/trainings as needed
About Us Grow and Glows Learning Academy is a fast-growing early childhood education center committed to creating a safe, engaging, and high-quality learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and dependable Administrative Assistant to work directly under the Owner/Director to help support daily operations, staff accountability, parent communication, and center organization.This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can multitask effectively, communicates professionally, and takes initiative without constant supervision.
Position Summary The Administrative Assistant will serve as a key support role within the leadership team. This individual will assist with administrative tasks, parent communication, scheduling, organization, compliance tracking, staff support, and day-to-day operational needs of the center. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technology-savvy, professional, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.Responsibilities Administrative Support Assist the Owner/Director with daily operational tasks Organize and maintain files, forms, reports, and records Manage calendars, schedules, and meeting coordination Prepare memos, flyers, letters, and staff communication Maintain accurate attendance and enrollment recordsHelp track employee documents, trainings, and certifications Parent&Staff Communication Respond to phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally Support communication through Brightwheel and other platforms Assist with tour scheduling and enrollment follow-up Provide exceptional customer service to families and visitors Operations&Compliance Assist with maintaining compliance with Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards Help organize incident reports, audits, and compliance documentation Monitor inventory and office/classroom supply needs Assist leadership with tracking center goals, reports, and projects Technology&Organization Utilize Google Docs, Google Sheets, Canva, and Microsoft Office Help maintain organized digital and physical systems Support social media or marketing tasks when needed Assist with creating reports, spreadsheets, and presentations Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent requiredAdministrative experience preferred Childcare or daycare experience strongly preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and remain solution-focused Professional appearance and attitude Comfortable working in a fast-paced childcare environmentProficient with computers, email, Google Workspace, and basic office systems Preferred Qualities Self-starter with strong initiative Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Ability to maintain confidentiality Dependable, punctual, and detail-orientedPassion for children, education, and supporting families Benefits Professional growth opportunities Supportive leadership environment Paid training opportunities Team-oriented culture Opportunity for advancement How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a brief summary explaining why you would be a great fit for Grow and Glows Learning Academy.We are looking for someone who is organized, dependable, professional, and ready to grow with our team.
