AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE ADVISOR / WRITER

Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 per Year

Service Advisor Experience Required
Dealership and Era Ignite Operating System Experience Preferred

We need to hire an experienced Service Advisor / Writer for our busy Service Department. Dealership experience is preferred, but if you have worked in workshops such as: Firestone, Valvoline, Pep Boys, Jiffy Lube, Midas, etc. you may have the experience we require. We are hiring for employees who know how to take care of our customers and leave them with a great feeling about the experience they have had at our Service Department. We value our employees and invest in their success.

Responsibilities - Service Advisor:

 

Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous service

Advise customers on necessary/suggested services and costs, including special promotions

Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, service and repairs

Oversee administration of warranty claims

Follow the status of a customer's vehicle from service bay entry through completion of work

Keep customers informed of any changes that occur

Upon completion of work, review work order with customer

Provide a completely satisfied customer experience

Schedule appointments for service/maintenance/recall work

 

Qualifications/Requirements - Service Advisor:

 

Service Advisor experience required - dealership and Era Ignite operating system experience preferred

Fantastic customer service and communication skills

Friendly personality

Time-management skills

Professional, well-groomed personal appearance and a positive attitude

Team-oriented and self-motivated

Able to work with little to no supervision

Strong computer skills

Good multitasking and organizational skills

Clean driving record and valid driver's license

High school diploma or equivalent
