Job Responsibilities:

Reviewing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.
Identifying and quantifying project costs, including materials, labor, equipment, and overhead. Obtaining quotes and pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
Analyzing historical data and industry trends to develop cost estimates.
Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand project scope and requirements.
Preparing and submitting competitive bids and proposals.
Participating in project meetings and discussions to provide cost-related insights and recommendations.
Updating and maintaining cost databases and estimating tools.
Monitoring and controlling project costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Providing cost-related support and analysis to project teams and management.
Estimators should have strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. They should also have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines are also important for this role.

Skills:

1-5 years of experience in Estimating high voltage electrical construction projects
Experience in any of the estimating software like (WinEST, INEight and accubid etc)
