Kindergarten Teacher - 1 year position, Brattleboro

The Windham Southeast School District (WSESD)/Windham Southeast Supervisory Union (WSESU) is an increasingly diverse community with an ongoing commitment to social justice and anti-racism. Green Street School, a K-6 school in the downtown area of Brattleboro, VT has an opening for a full-time, one-year kindergarten teaching position beginning in the 2026-2027 school year. In this position, applicants will be responsible for teaching all aspects of the classroom curriculum, understanding students' social, emotional, and academic needs, and working with interventionists and specialists to provide engaging learning opportunities, including additional layers of support within our MLSS framework for students. Qualified candidates will be Vermont-licensed or licensable in elementary education. Specific responsibilities include teaching whole class instruction for math, SEL, and phonics, as well as small group instruction during intervention time. The successful candidate must be willing to collaborate with a team of teachers, connect with children and have the ability to meet the needs of diverse learners and implement our required curriculum. This position will remain open until a qualified candidate is chosen. Candidates must hold a teaching license or be licensable.
