Overview: We’re hiring an
Administrative Assistant
to support a busy distribution center in Greenfield, IN. This person will be the go-to for all things admin—managing communication channels, filing, assisting the Facility Manager, and ensuring information flows smoothly across the team. Pay:
$15-16hr once hired on
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Full-time, on-site)
• Receives, categorizes, and conveys internal and external communications to respective departments • Communicates with procurement and customer service teams • Schedules inbound deliveries • Trouble shoots customer service inquiries • Trouble shoots receiving/shipping issues, escalates to shipping/receiving manager if necessary• Handles issues arising in shipping or inventory handling from customer service • Sends shipping dimensions or required information for dedicated orders to carriers/customer service • Sends notification and communicates with Couriers, notifying them of how many trucks needed • Processes and maintains inbound/outbound documentation, organize, scan and file• Maintains company
stockroom/breakroom
using 5s daily• Creates and maintains inventory supply lists (office, warehouse, inventory) • Forwards supply list to FCM every Friday specifying what needs to be ordered • Works in conjunction with leadership as necessary • Obtains and processes product orders, including receiving deliveries, registering them anddistributing them within the company• File maintenance • Any other duties assigned by management (Fulfillment Center Manager, Shipping Manager, Wire Room Manager
