Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Bartender role located in South Deerfield, MA.Responsibilities include:• Serving beer, liquor, wine, and mixed drinks responsibly and efficiently • Creating a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for guests • Managing customer interactions professionally in a fast-paced social environment • Handling cash and point-of-sale transactions accurately• Maintaining cleanliness and organization behind the bar • Helping maintain the overall energy, pace, and tone of the shift This role is part hospitality, part crowd management, and part personality. Strong bartenders here understand that they help shape the entire experience of the bar — not just serve drinks.Compensation Compensation includes hourly pay, tips, and additional performance-based incentives tied to shift sales. We believe strong bartenders directly impact the success of the bar, and when the bar succeeds, the bartender should benefit from that success as well. Strong performers who take ownership of their shifts will have opportunities for additional shifts and higher-volume nights.Schedule&Availability This is a flexible part-time role. We are continuing to strengthen and build out our team, and we are open to building the right schedule around the right candidate(s). Exact shifts may vary based on fit, experience, and performance. We highly value consistency and reliability, and are especially interested in candidates who can commit to owning the same recurring shifts each week and becoming a dependable part of the bar’s rhythm, atmosphere, and customer experience.Qualifications• Bartending, serving, or hospitality experience preferred, but not required • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to stay calm, professional, and aware in a busy environment • Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of personalities • Strong work ethic and reliability• Ability to multitask and move efficiently during busy shifts • Self-aware, socially intelligent, and capable of working independently • Must meet all Massachusetts legal requirements for alcohol service The right personality, attitude, and presence matter just as much as experience.
