STAFF ACCOUNTANT Salary:

$80,000–95,000 full-time role

Our client, a well-known and highly regarded organization, is seeking a

Staff Accountant

to join their team. This role reports directly to an experienced Controller known for being approachable, supportive, and team-oriented.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform duties related to a timely and accurate month-end close

Monthly reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations

Assist with preparation of financial and operating reports, including trial balances, adjustments, and closing entries

Support analysis and interpretation of accounting records for management use

Serve as backup to the Accounts Payable bookkeeper

Assist with budgeting and financial analysis

Prepare state and federal requested reports and assist with Form 990 preparation

Support additional accounting projects as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (completed or graduating

May 2026 )

3–5 years

of Staff Accounting experience

OR

Recent graduates must have relevant internships, co-ops, or volunteer accounting experience

Self-starter with a strong desire to learn

Solid Excel skills and attention to detail
