Enfield Public Schools is seeking a caring, energetic, and dedicated Kindergarten Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will support young learners' academic, social, and emotional development and provide a joyful, developmentally appropriate introduction to school. This position emphasizes building foundational skills and fostering a lifelong love of learning.Responsibilities

Develop and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and early childhood best practices Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that supports students' social, emotional, physical, and academic growth Use a variety of instructional strategies, including play-based and hands-on learningSupport early literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skill development Foster curiosity, communication, creativity, and collaboration Assess and monitor student progress using formative assessment practices Communicate regularly and effectively with families Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, families, and the school communityParticipate in professional learning to remain current with early childhood standards and instructional practices Qualifications Valid CTDOE certification in
