OZARK R-VI SCHOOL DISTRICT JOB DESCRIPTION TITLE: COACH HEAD QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Certification in education with DESE and holds coaching certification. 2. Practical knowledge of desired sport. 2. Experience working with Junior High or High School students. REPORTS TO: Activities Director JOB GOAL: To teach and coach our students at the highest level that can be attained which would support the academic beliefs and practices of the Ozark School District. PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Performance will be evaluated by the activities director regarding coaching, organization skills, communication and athletic season success. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to demonstrate in physical situations including weather or surface related areas as well as working on game plans or other related tasks that would be done by the head coach. TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Length of contract issued by school board. TYPE OF POSITION: Exempt EVALUATION: End of season evaluation by Activities Director. APPROVED BY SCHOOL BOARD: May 15, 2014
