Description: Medical direction is provided from an Anesthesiologist. Looking for a locum willing to work 10-hour shifts during weekdays. Weekends are not needed at this time. Shifts are available Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST. Multiple providers are scheduled daily. No daily guaranteed hours.Lunch breaks are not paid. Overtime will be paid per confirmed shift, but no overtime is provided per week. No stipends or rate increases for one year from the awarded bid. The average daily patient census is 135. There are a total of 17 main operating rooms, and all are operating simultaneously.The support staff to Anesthesiologists is at a 4:1 medical direction model. The types of cases will include complex neurosurgery, spine surgery, ENT procedures, and electrophysiology. Advanced procedures required include intubations, arterial lines, and vent management. Pediatric cases are an expectation.The facility does not require the provider to have a DEA. Credentialing timeframe is estimated to be 90 days. The facility has a trauma level of 0.
