About the Role

We are seeking a Systems Administrator with expertise in Windows and Linux to join our team in Old Greenwich, CT. This is a fully onsite role (5 days a week), ideal for candidates eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a dynamic IT environment. You will be responsible for managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure, ensuring system security, optimizing performance, and supporting business-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, MS 365 Cloud, MS Teams, and Multi-Factor Authentication.

Provide general Linux administration in an enterprise setting.

Manage virtualization environments using VMware vSphere.

Oversee email flow and security, including routing, spam filtering, malware protection, and data loss prevention (DLP).

Monitor and configure networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.), ensuring security and efficiency.

Configure, monitor, and manage firewalls to protect against cyber threats and enforce access controls.

Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, and Bash for system administration tasks.

Maintain server hardware, including installation, configuration, and structured cabling for optimal performance.

Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.

Required Qualifications

5-10 years of experience in system administration. Open to considering more seasoned professionals.

Expertise in Windows Server, Linux, and enterprise IT infrastructure.

Experience with VMware vSphere, Active Directory, MS 365 Cloud, and Multi-Factor Authentication.

Strong understanding of networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices.

Onsite availability (Monday–Friday) in Old Greenwich, CT.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience with AWS, Azure, or cloud-based infrastructure.

Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
