Load Driver C
This position will be responsible for loading, unloading and moving materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site.
Essential duties and responsibilities include:
Always follow and promote company safety rules and policies
Coordinate with forklift operators, know forklift safety operations, and perform preventative maintenance
Be responsible for cleanup of the yard and warehouse
Loads pallets onto truck and inspects strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit
Verifies materials loaded or unloaded against work order or bill of lading
Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated areas
Know where additives, gaskets, fittings and other materials are stored
Organizes and randomly inspects inventory on yard
Operates industrial truck or electric hoist safely and accurately to assist in loading or moving materials and products

Education and/or experience: High school diploma or equivalent and at least three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Forklift certification
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.
Maintain their designated work spaces in a clean, safe and timely manner in compliance with the plants THM/Safety policy.
Physical demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and able to talk and hear.
The employee is occasionally required to sit.
The employee is frequently required to stand and walk.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus.
Work environment:
This position is in the shipping yard environment where the employee will frequently be exposed to year round weather conditions, fumes and/or airborne particles and moving mechanical parts.
The employee will on occasion be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
The noise levels in the shipping yard are usually loud, proper personal protective equipment will be worn in given plant areas and when essential job function necessitate.
