Lofton Staffing is seeking an experienced Extrusion Operator for a manufacturing client in the Rosenberg area. We are looking for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and experience working with hydraulic presses and hot metal forming processes.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate 4-post style hydraulic presses and pull-through presses Load/unload material and assist with assembly/disassembly of tooling Run production batches ranging from 5-25 pieces Inspect parts using calipers and tape measures Perform basic machine maintenance including checking hydraulic fluid and greasing fittingsFollow written procedures and verbal instructions Monitor quality, production, and safety standards throughout the process Qualifications

Previous hot metal extrusion or hot metal forming experience preferred Experience working in high-heat industrial manufacturing environments required. Hydraulic press experience required Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience using calipers and tape measures Ability to work around high temperaturesMust be proactive, safety-minded, and dependable Plastic extrusion experience is
