Job Description LHH is partnering with a premier corporate services company in Houston, TX to identify a Senior Accountant. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning the full accounting cycle, partnering with leadership, and driving process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Salary for the Senior Accountant ranges between $85K&$90K per year depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

Compile and analyze financial information to prepare and review journal entries and general ledger activity Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports to summarize and interpret current and projected financial position Perform statistical and financial analyses to identify trends, estimates, and significant changes; prepare narrative explanations for managementReview client contracts and determine proper accounting treatment for revenue, deferrals, reserves, assets, and expenditures Monitor compliance with GAAP, SOX requirements, and company accounting procedures Review, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, errors, and inconsistencies in financial recordsAssist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum

2+ years

of experience in an accounting or finance role Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills High attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities Pay Details:

$85,000.00 to $90,000.00 per year
