Description
Syracuse, New York Full-time Currently seeking a Maintenance Repair Technician (CNC) - 2nd Shift. This position is based at our Syracuse, New York facility with core hours of 2:30pm to 11:00pm. What youll do: Tear down, determine extent of troubles, repair damaged electrical or mechanical mechanism or replace worn or defective parts and reassemble following standard and prescribed safety regulations. Need a basic understanding of PLC logic and machine programming (Mcode/Gcode) Adjust equipment to required specification and check to assure effective operation. Check sequence ofmachine cycle, determine type of machine malfunction, make all necessary repairs applying machine repair theory along with electrical theory. Perform electrical test operations. Work from complex schematic diagrams, manuals and testing procedures. Troubleshoot all defective printed circuit assembly boards. Perform similar or associated electrical or mechanical duties as directed. Detect and report all unusual cases to proper supervision. Use of judgment to comply with instructions or prescribed routines and to make decisions. Required (Basic) Qualifications: Must have a highschool diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution Journeymen or three (3) years of documented CNC repair maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanical trade Experience with ladder logic circuit diagrams, industrial motor control schematics, and blueprint reading Mustbe able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future Must currently reside within 50 miles of the Syracuse facility. Preferred qualifications: Four (4) years or more of documented CNC repair maintenance experience in an industrial electrical/mechanicaltrade preferred Background in machining and electrical equipment Two-year degree in electronics with mechanical experience/Military electronics experience. Experience with hydraulics Skills and Certifications Three years of documented CNC repair experience or Journeymen ladder logic circuit diagrams, industrial motor control schematics, and blueprint reading
