C&S Companies is seeking a talented, service-oriented individual to join our Accounting team as a full-time Payroll Coordinator.
This is an integral position that will be responsible for administering payroll for companies located across multiple states.
This is a full-time position offering a competitive compensation.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Strong working knowledge of payroll processing with at least 5 years of related experience
Ability to deal with sensitive information and maintain a high level of confidentiality
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and Word
Need to be a team player, detail oriented and ability to multi-task
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Working knowledge of ADP preferred
Position Responsibilities:
Employee record review and maintenance
Pre- and post-payroll reporting/payroll changes tracking
Work with import files for processing time
Process all bi-weekly payrolls including any off-cycle processing
Payroll balancing
Set up and terminate garnishments
Assist with other projects such as year-end, preparing reports for audits, tracking LOAs
