Job Title: CNC Operator

Location: Fife, WA

Pay: Day/Afternoon: $28/hr Night: $32/hr

Overview

We are currently hiring experienced CNC Operators for multiple immediate openings with medical device manufacturing industry located in Fife, WA. This opportunity is ideal for machinists who can confidently operate mills, lathes, 3- to 5-axis machines, and/or DMG NLX 1500 Mill-Turn equipment (Celos control). Experience with Mitsubishi Wire EDM is a plus.

These roles are on-site, with multiple shift options including weekday and weekend, day and night.

Job Duties

Set up and operate CNC Mills and Lathes (3- & 5-axis)

Operate CNC Mill-Turn (e.g., DMG Mori NLX 1500) with Celos control

Interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and job orders

Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision tools

Apply G&M code and GD&T for part inspection and setup

Troubleshoot machining issues and adjust programs at the machine

Complete daily maintenance and report machine malfunctions

Maintain production logs, quality control documents, and safety compliance

Operate Mitsubishi Wire EDM if skilled (preferred but not required)

Shift Details & Openings

1. Afternoon Shift (Weekdays)

Monday Friday | 2:00 PM 10:30 PM

1 opening

Operator must have experience running Haas Mills, lathes, and some 5-axis

Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision

2. Night Shift (Weekdays)

Monday Friday | 10:00 PM 6:30 AM

2 openings

One operator for 3- to 5-axis mills and lathes

One operator for DMG NLX 1500 or similar Mill-Turn machine with Celos

3. Weekend Day Shift

Saturday Sunday | 6:00 AM 6:00 PM

2 openings

One operator for 3- to 5-axis mills and lathes

One operator for DMG NLX 1500 or similar Mill-Turn machine with Celos

4. Weekend Night Shift

Saturday Sunday | 6:00 PM 6:00 AM

2 openings

One operator for 3- to 5-axis mills and lathes

One operator for DMG NLX 1500 or similar Mill-Turn machine with Celos

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on CNC operation experience

Familiarity with Fanuc and/or Celos controls

Able to read and interpret engineering drawings

Strong knowledge of CNC setup, tooling, offsets, and part measurements

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated

Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Must be able to reliably commute to or relocate near Fife, WA before start

Nice-to-Haves

Experience with Mitsubishi Wire EDM

Forklift operation

Familiarity with medical-grade manufacturing standards

Compensation

$28.00/hour Day/Afternoon Shifts

$32.00/hour Night Shifts
