OPS Customer Service Representative Opportunity
Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of Customer Service Representative at the Florida Public Safety Institute.
We're looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.
What You'll Do As Customer Service Representative, the day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, vendors and store customers
Be the main point of contact for phone calls and in-person inquiries.
Process mail, packages, and deliveries while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/reception area.
Assist with other operations- or store-related projects and tasks as assigned.
Varied hours between 7:30 and 5:00; 25 hours weekly
Who We're Looking For We're seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success.
Our ideal candidate will have:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in front desk, administrative support, retail, or operations role preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
Professional demeanor and appearance.
