Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with 1-5 years of experience to join our growing team in Temecula.
This role is ideal for someone looking to build on their accounting foundation while gaining hands-on experience across general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as needed
Analyze financial data and variances, providing insights to management
Assist in preparing financial statements and reports
Ensure compliance with accounting principles, policies, and procedures
Support audits by preparing schedules and documentation
Maintain accurate and organized financial records
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
1-5 years of accounting experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Pay Details:
$55,****** to $65,****** per year
