Technician / Assembler – Autonomous Ground Systems (Starling Hub)

Our
Starling Hub
enables fully autonomous UAV operations including precision landing, robotic battery swapping, charging, and remote deployment.
We are growing rapidly and looking for a hands-on
Technician / Assembler
to support manufacturing, integration, testing, and production of the Starling Hub system.
What You'll Do
• Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical subsystems of the Starling Hub
• Perform wiring, harnessing, connector installation, and full system integration
• Integrate motors, actuators, cameras, sensors, batteries, and charging systems
• Read and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, SOPs, and work instructions
• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and quality inspections
• Support prototype builds and production manufacturing
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturability and assembly efficiency
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused production environment
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of hands-on technical assembly or manufacturing experience
• Experience with both mechanical and electrical assembly
• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measurement equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and assembly documentation
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues independently
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with UAVs, robotics, aerospace, or autonomous systems
• Experience with low-voltage electrical systems and wiring harnesses
• Familiarity with batteries, chargers, sensors, and actuators
• Experience with composites, fabrication, or machining
• Soldering and cable crimping experience
• Passion for aviation, robotics, and autonomous systems
