Medical Assistant, Arizona

The Fountain Group is currently seeking a ­­­­­­­­Medical Assistant for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Scottsdale, AZ. Details for the position are as follows:

DIRECT HIRE (permanent role with benefits at Blue Cross Blue Shield)

Compensation:

$23-25 per hour

Basic Qualifications:

Certified/Registered Medical Assistant

3-5+ years of Medical Assisting experience

MUST HAVE GOOD JOB TENURE

Active Medical Assisting Certification/License

BLS Certification OR willing to obtain BLS within 30 days of employment

Phlebotomy Certification OR willing to obtain within 6 months of employment

Customer Service Oriented

Preparing Equipment / exam rooms

EMR Systems

Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card PREFERRED

Job Description:

Overview:

Establish a strong rapport with the patient, to include delivering an exceptional patient care experience.

Prepare patients for their visit to include communicating details around their scheduled visit, explaining all relevant information clearly, take vitals, and complete updates to patient record as required.

Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and ensure clean instruments are available for the daily care center operations.

Assist provider with medical treatments, procedures, and exams

Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies

Perform all other duties as assigned
