Structural Engineer, Tempe

Summary: Seeking a Structural Engineer to perform analysis and design with expertise in lateral analysis and building codes.
Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, emphasis on Structural Engineering required; MS preferred
Professional Engineer License (PE/PEng) required
Minimum 10 years of structural engineering experience
Proficient with US building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC)
Proficient with Structural Engineering software, Navisworks, Bluebeam
Experience designing/analyzing steel and concrete structures
Structural Engineer License (SE)
Experience in semiconductor or general industrial facilities
Experience leading medium-sized teams
Responsibilities:
Perform conventional aspects of structural engineering analysis/design independently
Plan and conduct work requiring independent evaluation and adaptation of techniques
Apply engineering judgment and problem-solving skills
Apply principles/practices of lateral analysis/design (wind/seismic) per building code
Ensure high attention to detail and quality control
Manage workload effectively; meet schedule, budget, quality requirements
