Foreclosure Attorney, Mesa, AZ

A national law firm providing legal services to financial institutions seeks a Foreclosure Attorney for their Arizona team. This role is REMOTE. There will be occasional appearances for hearings, so candidates must be able to attend periodic hearings in Arizona. The Foreclosure Attorney is responsible for handling pre-litigation and litigation issues/cases involving non-judicial foreclosure actions. Additionally, this attorney will work with the firm’s foreclosure excess proceed team overseeing the excess proceeds and escheatment process for the firm’s western states.  Position requires (a) 1+ years of AZ real property law (ideally foreclosure); (b) an active license to practice in Arizona. Position includes comprehensive benefits. 

salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Work closely with non-judicial foreclosure trustees in providing compliance and litigation advice.
• Resolving pre-litigation issues and any defensive litigation that may be necessary. 
• Review/preparation of excess proceeds motions and review of claims.
