Required: At least six months of related experience in a similar role and environment. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English. Keep safety as a priority in the work environment. Ability to successfully complete a skills assessment. (eTRAIN test) Valid driver's license. Excellent client service skills.Own and maintain required personal tools. Strongly Preferred: At least five years heavy equipment technician experience, preferably in a dealership environment. Caterpillar work experience. Machinist experience on Engine systems If offered employment, the specific rate of pay and position grade will be determined based on applicable differentials and the candidate's level of experience and skill.Job Details

Shift - 2nd Shift Location - In-Shop Schedule - Work schedule to be provided by leader Salary Range - $28.60 - $54.32 Per Hour Job Summary

Perform rebuild and repair machining work as required. Repair or rebuild worn and failed parts requiring welding reconstruction and/or machining. Essential Functions

Ability to set up machines and run the machining job. Metal spray or HVC processes as required. Perform reboring, rebuilding, resurfacing, magnafluxing and grinding as needed. Prepare service reports. Plan and control cost of repair jobs. Machined parts are within specified tolerances. Maintain company equipment

keep in good clean orderly condition. Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards. Additional Responsibilities

Maintain quality work standards. Set up and operate equipment as required. Comprehend and interpret sketches and diagrams Operate stripping and finishing machines Keep records, provide data, and submit reports Weld structural components as needed. Work overtime as needed. Travel to remote locations as needed.Perform other related duties as assigned. Work within and promote corporate values. Knowledge Skills and Abilities

In-depth knowledge of general machining equipment. Previous experience in thermal spray and/or lathe. Extensive prior experience in welding and machining. Appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming adhere to company policy. Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively. Must have acceptable attendance to meet all company standards and requirements.Education and Experience

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED). Current driver's license. Minimum of 6 months related experience Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
