About the Role We are seeking a skilled and dependable

Maintenance Mechanic / Maintenance Technician

to support operations within our manufacturing facility in Brazil, Indiana. This hands-on role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and improving industrial production equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong industrial maintenance experience, mechanical troubleshooting expertise, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Equipment Maintenance&Repair Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on: Production equipment

Mechanical systems

Pneumatic systems

Utilities and facility systems

Troubleshoot and repair: Motors

Pumps

Blowers

Mills

Rotating equipment

Pneumatic machinery

Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions to minimize downtime

Diagnose equipment failures and determine root causes

Preventive&Predictive Maintenance Execute scheduled maintenance activities including: Inspections

Lubrication

Cleaning

Calibration

Filter replacement

Equipment adjustments

Conduct daily inspections of utility systems such as: Boilers

Chillers

Air compressors

Pumps

RO (Reverse Osmosis) units

Maintain maintenance logs and complete assigned work orders accurately

Troubleshooting&Diagnostics Use diagnostic and testing equipment to evaluate machinery performance, including: Multimeters

Gauges

Dial indicators

Calipers

Vibration analyzers

Identify and resolve mechanical and pneumatic issues efficiently

Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives

Installation&Project Support Assist with: New equipment installations

Production line setups

Equipment upgrades

Capital improvement projects

Support fabrication and modification work using: Welders

Grinders

Saws

Drill presses

Other shop tools

Safety&Compliance Follow all plant safety procedures and company policies

Properly use required PPE at all times

Adhere to: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Safe work practices

Maintenance safety standards

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work area

Required Qualifications Education High School Diploma or GED required

Associate degree or technical certification preferred

Experience Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience required

Experience in manufacturing or industrial production environments strongly preferred

Required Skills&Abilities Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills

Knowledge of industrial mechanical and pneumatic systems

Ability to work independently and within a team environment

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Dependable with excellent attendance and work ethic

Ability to prioritize multiple maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment

Comfortable working in: Hot environments

Industrial settings

Elevated areas/heights

Ability to wear a respirator for extended periods

Reliable transportation to and from work

Preferred Qualifications Technical degree or certification in: Industrial Maintenance

Mechanical Technology

Mechatronics

Related technical field

Experience operating forklifts or aerial lifts

Welding and fabrication experience

Experience supporting continuous improvement projects
