Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and professional Employment Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and placing qualified candidates for a variety of positions. This role requires strong communication skills, relationship-building abilities, and a passion for helping people find meaningful employment opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Source and recruit qualified candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, networking, and community outreach Conduct phone screens and interviews to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers Maintain and update applicant tracking systems and recruiting databaseBuild relationships with local organizations, workforce agencies, and veteran employment programs Prepare and post job advertisements for open positions Verify employment eligibility, background information, and references when required Communicate professionally with applicants throughout the hiring processAssist with onboarding and orientation processes for new hires Meet recruiting goals and hiring deadlines

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, HR, sales, or military leadership experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer proficiency, including Google Docs and email systemsProfessional appearance and demeanor Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
